About the Host and Venue:

The historic Buskirk-Chumley Theater is a versatile location for any style of wedding. Looking for fun? One couple invited friends and family to perform a talent show on the stage during the reception. Seeking elegance? This 1922 theater takes you back in time. Do you want to dance? The stage or the orchestra pit can be used as a dance floor; this venue offers plenty of options for music and entertainment and adding our disco ball is a must. Don’t forget about the marquee, which will welcome guests to your big day, along with the flashing lights of the historic “Indiana” sign.

One-Hour Weddings: To accommodate simple and unique ceremonies as well as modest budgets, the Buskirk-Chumley Theater is offering one hour wedding ceremonies. Couples will have the opportunity to begin the next chapter of their lives by exchanging vows inside the Buskirk-Chumley Theater’s beautiful 1920s art deco lobby. This intimate space is perfect for couples wanting something quick, safe, and beautiful. Come in for an intimate, worry-free ceremony and then go celebrate downtown with your friends and family!
