Hosting a Southern Indiana wedding professionals networking meeting at your venue can be mutually beneficial for both the venue owner and the professionals involved. It can yield long-term benefits for your venue, including increased business opportunities, positive relationships, and a strong presence within the local wedding market.

WHAT DOES BEING A HOST INVOLVE?

When hosting a SIWP Meeting, you are opening your space to wedding and event professionals throughout Southern Indiana, providing the venue for the meeting.

You have the option to arrange a food vendor (they would become a featured professional without the fee in exchange for providing the food), or work with the organizers to facilitate this. Typically, light hor d'oeuvres and desserts are provided, but you have the flexibility to showcase any food options you prefer.

You ensure that the venue is set up appropriately for the meeting, including seating arrangements, audiovisual equipment if needed, and any other logistical requirements. The meeting organizers will work with you if any of this is needed from an outside source.

As the host, you welcome attendees and ensure they have a positive experience throughout the meeting. You will have the opportunity to speak exclusively about your venue and give a guided tour to the professionals.

WHAT'S INCLUDED AS A FEATURED PROFESSIONAL?

Featured vendors are given the opportunity to present to the group, highlighting their products or services and any special offers they may have. There is a $25 spotlight vendor fee which contributes to marketing costs.

 

Featured vendors are promoted in all online communications, social media, and newsletters leading up to the meeting, increasing their visibility and reach within the professional network. 

 

If you are a featured vendor providing a tangible item, such as food or drinks, the spotlight vendor fee is waived in return for donating those items to the meeting to be showcased.

Being a featured vendor allows you to connect with other professionals in the industry, potentially leading to collaborations, referrals, and business opportunities.
