Host Expectations
Hosting a Southern Indiana Wedding Professionals networking event is designed to be simple, collaborative, and beneficial for your business. As the host venue or business, we ask that you provide the following:

Meeting Space: A comfortable space that can accommodate approximately 30–50 attendees for networking and presentations.

Tables & Chairs: Appropriate seating and tables for attendees. You're also encouraged to style the space using any décor, furnishings, or design elements you'd like to showcase.

Parking: Adequate parking for attendees.

Presentation Space: A designated area for brief announcements, educational presentations, or guest speakers.

Light Refreshments: If your venue offers in-house catering and/or bar services, you're welcome to provide light appetizers, refreshments, and a cash bar (if desired). If your venue does not offer these services, the SYWPEvents team will coordinate with a local catering and/or bar vendor who is interested in participating and showcasing their business.

Venue Showcase: Hosts will receive dedicated time during the networking event to introduce their business, highlight their services and amenities, and provide guided tours of the venue or facility for interested attendees.

Event Duration: Networking events typically last approximately two hours, with additional time allotted before and after the event for setup and guest arrival.
The SIWP team will handle event promotion, registration, attendee communication, and overall event coordination so you can focus on showcasing your business and connecting with fellow wedding professionals.
